Welcome to my grass roots campaign to actually do something, actually take some steps to help fight Global Warming. If you’re like me, you care about the environment and you want to help. How this all came about:

One day, I was at my office and my old boss saw a flyer about global warming on my desk and started giving me grief about it. He told me it was just a fad, just something for me to feel good about without me actually having to do anything. It hurt my feelings and I argued with him but eventually realized that – in a way – he was right. And I felt pretty lousy that I had these strong beliefs, but I really hadn’t done one little thing to act upon them.

And it hurt my feelings and was pretty bummed out for a while…

But when I got my act together, I knew that I had to find some way to try to make a difference. And more than that, I knew I needed to help other people who had the same problem as I did. I gave it some thought and realized that the core of the problem was that: (1) I didn’t know WHAT to do and (2) the things I did come up with required time and energy that I didn’t have.

And then it hit me like a thunderbolt:

Take small steps. Do little things. When you think too big, you get overwhelmed by the scope and you take no action.
